About Us
The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation was established in 1983 to support projects that benefit the children of abuse who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.
These projects fall outside the funding provided by the government for Child Welfare Services and therefore the Society relies on the fundraising efforts of the Foundation to keep these programs in operation.
In 2007 the KHCAS provided service to over 350 children. In addition there are a number of Children who remain in their homes on Supervision Orders. In total, the society provided Service to more than 3,010 cases last year.
