The seventh annual Kawartha Kids Ride for Charity was a great success!
The riders enjoyed a super day of sunshine as over 120 motorcylce enthusiasts left the Captain's Restaurant in Lindsay on June 6th. All riders proudly rode down Kent Street and out in the Bobcaygeon area; all with hope for the children who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society. The ride was followed by a dance at the Lindsay Rugby Club featuring three bands and lots of prizes.
Members of the KKR have worked diligently over the last year to plan and make this charitiy ride a success for the kids. The Foundation would like to say a big thank you to the committee for all their hard work and dedication and to all the riders who participated in the ride.
The Foundation is thrilled with the amazing results of the ride - we are so pleased to announce that the KKR raised $13,000.00 for the Summer Camp Fund - way to go everyone who participated in the ride - thank you so much!!!! What a difference this is going to make in the lives of so many children at risk!!!!
