On Thursday June 25, 2009 the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Foundation will hold its AGM at the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society in Peterborough . Prior to meeting the Board will be recognizing two young women who are graduating from college by presenting them with a watch and certificate and most of all our most sincere wishes for very successful futures.

Over the last decade the Foundation has provided funds to assist over 45 Crown Wards with expenses associated with college and university. Each semester the students receive $1500.00 each through our Margaret Davies Bursary Fund. These successes certainly show proof that all of the positive experiences that the Foundation provides over the life of a child involved with the KHCAS gives them the confidence to follow their dreams.
