The Foundation would like to say a special thanks to Sears for helping  a Peterborough family of four fulfil a family dream.

The parents of two young boys who are involved with the K-H Children's Aid Society decided that they wanted to give their two children a positive experience by going camping. The Foundation then paid for the camping fees but the family did not have any camping equipment! A call was made to Sears and the next day there was a wonderful array of camping equipment to be picked up, ranging from a four-person domed tent, 2 sleeping bags, emergency blankets, a camp lantern, camp matches and fire starters and a soft crocket set for the boys to play with at the campsite!

The Foundation and the family were so pleased to receive these generous items. The family is away this weekend experiencing nature and building happy memories for their children, thanks to Sears!
